WhatsApp is the fastest way to reach me

I'm usually teaching between 3pm and 8.30pm on weekdays, so a message will get a proper reply sooner than a call will. Tell me your child's level and subject and I'll come back with what's open.

What to include in your message

You don't have to — but these four things let me answer properly in one reply instead of five:

  • Your child's level (e.g. P4, Sec 2)
  • The subject you're after
  • Which days and times could work for you
  • What's been hard — even "she just hates Maths now" tells me a lot

Frequently asked questions

How many students are in each group?

A maximum of three, at every level. Groups are formed by level and ability — I don't mix a P3 into a P5 class to fill a seat. A class closes as soon as the third child joins.

Where exactly in Jurong West are you?

My home is a short walk from Boon Lay MRT, and easy to reach from Pioneer, Lakeside, Taman Jurong and Jurong East. I share the exact block and unit once a trial lesson is confirmed — it's a home with children in it, so I keep the address off a public website.

Is the trial lesson really free?

Yes, and it's a real class at your child's level, not a shortened assessment. No charge, no obligation. I'll message you after with what I noticed — including if I think another tutor or level would suit them better.

What levels and subjects do you teach?

K1–K2 English and Maths. Lower Primary (P1–P3) English, Maths and Chinese. Upper Primary (P4–P5) English, Maths, Chinese and Science. At P6 and throughout Secondary (S1–S4), Maths only — including both E-Maths and A-Maths at Sec 3 and 4.

Do I need to buy assessment books?

No. Assessment books and weekly worksheets are provided, and marking and feedback are included in the fee. Enrol now and the materials for the rest of the year — worth around $80 — are free.

Can I stay and watch the lesson?

You're very welcome to walk your child up and look at the study space. During the lesson itself children genuinely work better without a parent in the room, so I send you an update afterwards instead.

My child is very weak in the subject. Will they hold the group back?

That's exactly what the ability grouping is for. If your child is significantly behind the others at their level, I'll place them in a group that matches where they actually are — or tell you honestly that a term of one-to-one first would serve them better.

Do you teach online?

Not currently. The whole method depends on watching working as it's written and hearing children explain things to each other, and that thins out badly over a screen.

How do I pay?

PayNow, at the start of each month, for that month's lessons. No registration fee, no deposit, no material fee.

Send me a message — I'll tell you what's open
